You know I've been blabbering on about my remix? Well, disaster has struck. After reading some posts about the process I was a bit worried that it wouldn't qualify as a remix. So I got a third opinion, and apparently no, it won't. I've done all the unforgivable things, like introducing new ships, continuing the story and basically messing up big time. This is a real bummer, because I have so much work to do and my mother is dragging me away for three days at the very worst possible time. Anyway, I've had to start a new remix, which is at least a bit funnier... :/ But I'm totally pissed off with myself, actually.

Oh, no! I'm sorry - what a nightmare. But at least you might get another story out of it? As in, is it possible that the story you originally started for remix can be rescued for later?

*big hugs* Oh, thank you for replying! 'Nightmare' truly sums it... Unfortunately, it's got the double curse of being unusable as a remix yet absolutely based on a particular piece. I'm hoping that after the reveals the author will let me post it on my journal with a link and acknowledgements, but that's not a done deal.

I've been awake all night, and finally thought of something I can do for one of the other fics. If I only had this weekend, I'd be okay! Still, I am going to get to it right now.
